The academic programs that MARKAZ AWIS provides are varied in their content and nature. Both of them give immense opportunities for the students to learn the fundamentals of Islamic sciences along with higher secondary education with its three optional subjects- Humanities, Commerce, and Science to choose from.

Hadiya Higher Secondary

MARKAZ AWIS launched Higher Secondary Alimiyyah Program namely Hadiya with an intention that deeply concerns the traditional scholarship and ethical baseline of Islam. As the name Hadiya suggests, it envisions to empower the students in such a way they shall be the bearers of sacred knowledge and wisdom so as to lead the members of households and community into the right path.

In order to enlighten the current generation of women in the foundational texts of the religion, the curriculum of HAP comprise not just some study materials, but it engages the students with practical ways of learning and living. MARKAZ AWIS introduces a syllabus that includes classical Islamic texts on Islamic jurisprudence, essentials of theology, history, Sufism, extracts from Hadeeth literature and Quranic Hermeneutics. The curriculum has been designed in a way where classical Islamic texts were combined with profane streams of sciences- Humanities, Commerce, and Science, which they are free to choose as per their interests.

Moreover, it imparts lessons of being an ideal Muslim woman by telling the tales of Muslim female scholars lived in the Islamic civilizations as great ideals. Hence, it attempts to inculcate cherished values, ethos and good manners in the spheres of their individual and social life.

Hadiya Diploma in Islamic Studies

Diploma in Islamic Studies (DIS) is a one-year UG diploma program designed by MARKAZ AWIS with a purpose of catering knowledge of more specific subjects in Islamic sciences, home sciences and creative skills to the eligible students. These subjects particularly concern with gender-related jurisprudence of Islam and the life of women in a pluralistic society. This course enables them to understand the meanings of religious life and helps them be aware of the better ways to become ideal faithful woman in the contemporary social milieu.

The curriculum includes classical Islamic texts and contemporary works that represent different branches of Islamic sciences and human sciences such as Quran studies, Hadith literature, Islamic law, and science of Qur’anic recitation (Tajweed)……on life science,

Hadiya Graduate Program is a graduate program designed by MARKAZ AWIS with a purpose of educating women in a wide range Islamic science, home sciences. This course enables them to learn traditional and modern Islamic texts with more focus on Islamic jurisprudence, Tasawwuf (Sufism), theology, Arabic Language and history along with secular sciences. The curriculum is designed in way which prompts the growing students to focus more on Islamic subjects with modern significance and it transforms the learners to become young female scholars of Islam.
